SAPUI5 Custom App Development

For scenarios where standard Fiori apps or Fiori Elements do not meet your requirements, SXC Group builds custom SAPUI5 applications. Our developers follow SAP Fiori design guidelines and the SAPUI5 framework conventions to ensure apps are maintainable, performant and upgrade-safe.

Fiori Elements and Annotations

Fiori Elements enables rapid app generation from OData service annotations, dramatically reducing development time for standard SAP transactional and analytical patterns. SXC Group uses Fiori Elements as the default approach where the pattern fits, falling back to freestyle SAPUI5 only where genuinely necessary.

SAP Build Work Zone / Fiori Launchpad

A coherent entry point is as important as the apps themselves. SXC Group designs and deploys the SAP Fiori Launchpad and Build Work Zone, configuring tiles, spaces, pages and roles so each user sees only what is relevant to their job, across SAP and non-SAP content in a single portal.

Legacy UI Modernisation

If your users are still working in SAP GUI transactions, SXC Group can assess the business case for a Fiori replacement, prioritise the highest-value transactions, and deliver a phased migration plan. We evaluate standard delivered Fiori apps first before commissioning custom development.

Mobile Enablement

Slow Fiori apps erode adoption as quickly as a poor UX design. SXC Group performs front-end performance audits, analysing OData call volume, payload size, rendering bottlenecks and network latency, and implements targeted optimisations to bring load times within acceptable thresholds.
