myDATA for SAP
The myDATA Obligation
Since 2021, all legal entities operating in Greece are required to submit their accounting records electronically to the Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) via the myDATA platform. This includes invoices, credit notes, retail receipts, expenses and payroll-related documents.
For organisations running SAP, manual submission is not a practical option at scale. Every document created in SAP FI or SD that falls within scope must be transmitted to AADE in real time or within defined deadlines, with a digital mark (ΜΑΡΚ) returned from AADE and stored against the SAP document.
Non-compliance carries financial penalties and increases audit risk.
The Solution: myDATA Integration for SAP
SXC Group implements myDATA compliance as a native SAP integration, connecting your SAP FI/SD document flow directly to the AADE myDATA API, so document transmission happens automatically without manual intervention or parallel systems.
What SXC Group Delivers
myDATA Scope Analysis
Not all documents are treated equally under myDATA. SXC Group performs a full scoping exercise across your SAP landscape to identify:
- Which document types are in scope (outgoing invoices, intra-company, retail, expenses)
- Which SAP company codes, sales organisations and plants are affected
- Classification of income/expense categories (MyDATA income/expense classification codes)
- Timing requirements for each document type
SAP Integration Development
SXC Group builds the integration layer between SAP and the AADE myDATA API:
- Real-time transmission: documents submitted to AADE at the point of SAP posting
- ΜΑΡΚ storage: AADE’s digital mark written back to the SAP document as a reference
- UID (Unique Invoice Identity): managed where applicable for B2B invoices
- Error handling and resubmission: failed transmissions flagged for review and retry without data loss
- Cancellation and correction: transmission of SAP reversal and credit note documents in accordance with myDATA rules
myDATA Monitoring and Compliance Dashboard
SXC Group provides a monitoring solution within SAP (or as a standalone dashboard) to track:
- Transmission status per document
- AADE rejection codes and resolution guidance
- Submission volume and compliance rate reporting
- Outstanding documents requiring resubmission
Existing System Integration (Non-SAP Documents)
For organisations with documents originating outside SAP, e-commerce, billing systems, legacy applications, SXC Group can extend the myDATA integration to cover non-SAP document sources via SAP Integration Suite or direct API connectivity.
Support and Regulatory Updates
The myDATA specification continues to evolve as AADE extends coverage and adjusts classification rules. SXC Group provides ongoing support to keep your integration current with regulatory changes.
